Disney Traditions You, Me and Hunny Bee Figurine

Classic Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and little Piglet have the carved by heart treatment by award winning artist and sculptor, Jim Shore. Inspired by American Folk Art, this resin figurine is carefully hand-painted.  

As the son of artistic parents, Jim Shore was raised with a love of all things creative when growing up in South Carolina. Shore collects hand-made quilts, his grandmother was a master quilter and she gave him an appreciation for careful hand-made designs. 'There’s an innocence, a purity in the designs found in early American art, particularly in quilts. These were masterpieces designed by artists driven to create.  I collect quilts dating back over 150 years and when I look at the level of skill and creativity I am constantly amazed. It's high art from every day, often humble surroundings.' This patchwork influence is apparent in his designs.
