Royal Mint Piglet Coin
For nearly a century, Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood have been a firm family favourite at bedtime. Now, they’re leaping from the pages of A.A. Milne’s popular storybooks onto the coins of an exciting coin collection which will span three years. This 50p coin for 2020 features Pooh’s loyal, if a little anxious, friend Piglet. Captured in one of E. H. Shepard’s original illustrations, Piglet is having a lovely time blowing at a dandelion while a friendly bee flies in from the previous coins in the series.
This coin is a purely commemorative edition you won’t find it in your change. Each edition is packaged with a fold-out wallet decorated with original illustrations where you can find out more about the little pig that is always at Winnie the Pooh’s side.
